Halstad Marketing Club The Marketing Club, under the instruction of the University of Minnesota Ag Business Managment, meets approximately 17 times per year. As a group, we develop a Pre-Harvest marketing plan based on producer averages using both calendar dates and percentage of crop to capture an extra 10 cents or more from the market. We also discuss the question: "To Store or Not to Store?" by looking for answers in seasonal price patterns, carrying charges and understanding the perils of holding grain in storage too long.
